Kelly Manning M.S., CCC-SLP

Owner and Pediatric Speech/Language/Feeding Therapist

Kelly is a Tennessee state licensed and American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA) certified Speech Language Pathologist. She got a dual Bachelor's Degree in both Communication Sciences and Disorders as well as Neuroscience with a minor in Psychology from Syracuse University. She then went on to get her Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology from University of Tennessee Health Science Center. Kelly has experience working across settings in clinics, schools, and telepractice (virtual setting).

Kelly has a passion for special populations, primarily with sensory components to their behaviors. She approaches each new child's adventure by getting a complete picture of needs to best support the child as well as their families. Kelly has particular interest in students with Autism, sensory feeding difficulties, non-verbal or AAC users, and perceived defiant/challenging behaviors (such as those stemming from communication delays, ADHD, ODD, or sensory integration disorders). She also thoroughly enjoys assisting students in literacy and speech sound development!

Kelly strives to continue her education in her field and currently holds certifications/certificates for training in the following:

                   --Lively Letters

                   --Feed the Peds

                   --Mealtime Works

                   --Table Food School

                   --McNeill Dysphagia Therapy Program (MDTP)

When not at work, you can find Kelly crafting (Chatty Cat Crafts), completing DIY house projects, volunteering, or playing kickball!
